The AP × Swatch Royal Pop is a pocket watch. A brilliant one. Swatch themselves described the design as open to third parties providing ways to wear it on the wrist. The OctoFit™ Rubber Strap is built in the spirit of the Royal Oak Offshore — bold, sport-forward, and built for daily wear.
The OctoFit™ Strap is the answer. Engineered specifically around the Royal Pop's proprietary clip geometry, it converts your pocket watch into a full wristwatch in seconds — with zero drilling, zero gluing, zero permanent modification to your watch.
The adapter interfaces directly with the same recessed mount point used by the official lanyard frame. Pop your Royal Pop out of its clip holder using the built-in "clac" release, seat it into the OctoFit™ adapter, and the case locks with the same satisfying click. Remove it just as easily, anytime.
Lépine OctoFit™ — For the 6 Lépine models (crown at 12 o'clock). The adapter lets you seat the case at any angle you want. Mount it at 45° to rotate the crown to 1-2 o'clock and clear the wrist, or straight up with the crown at 12. However you want to wear it, the OctoFit™ holds it there.
Savonnette OctoFit™ — For the 2 Savonnette models (crown at 3, small seconds at 6). The adapter mounts the case straight — crown at 3 o'clock, exactly as it would be on any wristwatch by design.
Both versions ship with a premium FKM fluoroelastomer rubber strap, colour-matched to your Royal Pop. The OctoFit™ uses standard 20mm lugs — any 20mm strap you own fits immediately.

- Pop. Press the release on your Royal Pop's official clip frame. The watch case separates in one motion — the same "clac" mechanism used to swap between lanyard, desk stand, and bag clip.
- Seat. Lower the case into the OctoFit™ adapter. It engages the same clip geometry as the official frame and locks with an audible click. Zero tools required.
- Strap. The OctoFit™ has standard 20mm lug ends. Attach the included rubber strap via the push-pin quick-release spring bars — or swap to any 20mm strap you already own.
- Wear. Lépine: seat the case at any angle you want — 45° with crown at 1-2 o'clock, straight with crown at 12, or anywhere in between. Savonnette: straight mount, crown at 3. The Royal Pop, finally on your wrist.

The Lépine and Savonnette have different crown positions. Their adapters are engineered differently — one for each.
The Lépine crown sits at 12 o'clock. The OctoFit™ Lépine adapter lets you mount the case at any angle — 45° with the crown at 1-2 o'clock, straight with the crown at 12, or anything in between. Your watch, your way.
The Savonnette crown sits at 3, small seconds at 6. This is the natural wristwatch position — no angle needed. The OctoFit™ Savonnette mounts the case straight. Crown at 3, exactly where it belongs.

The OctoFit™ uses the same clip mount point as the official lanyard frame and makes zero permanent modification. Swatch's own materials explicitly invite third-party accessories to extend how the Royal Pop is worn. That said, we can't speak for Swatch's warranty team — for servicing, we recommend reattaching the official frame beforehand.
