OctoFit was built for one reason: the AP × Swatch Royal Pop is one of the most exciting watches of 2026, and nobody should have to keep it in their pocket.

The doors opened at 10 AM. The queue had been there since dawn. Eight Bioceramic pocket watches — Audemars Piguet DNA, hand-wound Sistem51 movements, sapphire crystals front and back — and not a single wrist strap in sight.

That's not an oversight. That's a pocket watch. The Royal Pop was designed to be carried — the Lépine crown sits at 12, the Savonnette at 3. Swatch built something deliberate and beautiful and different.

But the collector community had other ideas. Within hours of the drop, the forums were full of the same question: how do we wear this thing?

The Opportunity

Collectors Wanted a Solution.
Nobody Had One.

The existing aftermarket options were exactly what you'd expect: generic adapters that didn't account for crown position, plastic construction, poorly matched straps, and a complete lack of understanding of what the Royal Pop actually is.

Some people tried DIY. Some people bought adapters designed for entirely different pocket watches and made them work — barely. Some people just put the Royal Pop back in the box and wore something else.

We looked at that situation and decided to do it properly. Not quickly — properly. That meant understanding the watch first.

The Engineering

Two Crown Positions.
Two Adapters.

The Royal Pop comes in two case types. The Lépine — six colorways — has the crown at 12 o'clock. The Savonnette — two colorways — has the crown at 3. These are not cosmetic differences. They are engineering problems with different solutions.

Generic adapters give you no choice. The OctoFit™ Lépine adapter lets you mount the case at any angle you want — wear it upright with the crown at 12, rotate it to clear your hand, or find whatever position feels right on your wrist. The OctoFit™ Savonnette adapter mounts straight, because the crown at 3 is exactly where you'd want it.

The Materials

Aerospace Grade.
Because It Matters.

You spent $400 on the Royal Pop. You're going to put something against it every day it's on your wrist. What that something is made of matters.

The OctoFit™ adapter is CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aerospace aluminium — anodised in Silver, Matte Black, and Polished Gold. The strap is FKM fluoroelastomer rubber, colour-matched to each Royal Pop colorway. Standard 20mm lugs with included push-pin quick-release spring bars.

What We Believe

No Modification

The Royal Pop is the Royal Pop. We don't believe in permanent changes. The OctoFit™ system clips into the clac geometry Swatch designed and releases the same way. The watch remains exactly what it was when you bought it. That's a non-negotiable.

Correct Geometry

Every pocket watch has a crown. Every crown has a position. Every position demands a different engineering response. We don't ship one adapter and call it universal. We ship two — each engineered for its specific case type. If it doesn't wear correctly, it doesn't leave the workshop.

Material Respect

Aerospace aluminium against a Bioceramic case. FKM rubber against your wrist. Nothing that flexes, corrodes, scratches, or degrades. The OctoFit™ adapter is built to outlast the trend cycle. If you're still wearing your Royal Pop in ten years, the adapter will still be working.

OctoFit is an independent brand. We're not backed by a parent conglomerate. We're collectors who saw a gap, had the engineering knowledge to fill it properly, and decided to do exactly that.

We're based in Boston — the same city where collectors lined up, flew in, and refreshed every Swatch boutique page on drop day. We understand the market because we're in it. The OctoFit™ system is our only product. We're not distracted by anything else. That focus is the point.
